Marianne R. Long, 77, of Littlestown, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her home.  She was the wife of James S. Long for almost 55 years.  Born Feb 7, 1947 in Hanover, Marianne was the daughter of the late John R., Sr .& Helen (Altoff) Rudisill.  She was a Littlestown High School graduate and was retired from Littlestown Area School District since 2012 as Secretary to the Principal after 36 years of employment.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Jayme A. Long of Littlestown; her brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.  Marianne was predeceased by her brother, John R. Rudisill, Jr.   She was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Littlestown participating in PCCW, the Altar Guild, helped in the kitchen during BINGO and was a CCD/VBS teacher.

Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, June 7, at 10 A.M. at St. Aloysius with The Rev. C. Anthony Miller Celebrant.  Viewing is Thursday 6 - 8 P.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown. Interment is in the Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marianne's name may be sent to American Cancer Society, P.O.Box 2174, Hagerstown, MD  21741 or to her church @ 29 S.
