Biography:

Ralph David Rebert,83, of Hanover, died Friday, May 17, 2024 at his home. He was the husband of Linda (Keefer) Rebert for almost 40 years.  Born Jan 28, 1941 in Hanover, Ralph was the son of the late George E. & Mary (Baumgardner) Rebert. He was a 1959 graduate of Eichelberger High School and a graduate of York Technical Institute. Ralph served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1964. While serving in Massachusetts, he had the distinction of honor guard for President John F. Kennedy. He was employed with Gischner Shelters of Dallastown and CAM Industries of Hanover and retired in 2003.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his daughters, Kecia & Dr. Patrick McConville of Knoxville, TN, Natali & Richard Monaghan of Mt. Wolf, PA, and Michelle & Clark Petschek of NY; his grandchildren:  Keira, Braden & Laura McConville, Kaleob & Kollin Monaghan, and Chad, Tyler, & Kyle Petschek; his sisters, Betty Slagle of Hanover, Patricia Duncan of York New Salem and Marion Rider of McSherrystown and his brothers, Richard Rebert of Dallastown and Gary Rebert of Hanover.  Ralph was predeceased by his son, Kevin A. Rebert, and his siblings, Cletus Rebert, Doris Steich, George Rebert Jr., Harold Rebert, Geraldine Walker, Donald Rebert and Carroll Rebert.  Ralph was a member of New Hope Faith Community, Hanover. He was previously a member of the Hanover Elks where he served as Exalted Ruler for 2 years. Ralph enjoyed reading, puzzles, computers and playing Uno with his 5 grandchildren.

Memorial Service is Tuesday, May 28, at 11 A.M. at New Hope Faith Community with visitation from 10:00-11:00AM. The Rev. Nathaniel Hedin-Schmidt will be officiating. Memorials in Ralph's name may be sent to his church @ 33 Sunday Dr., Hanover, PA 17331.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
