Richard William “Dick” Fisher, Sr., 80, of Hanover, passed peacefully on Sun, Jan 3, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 14, 1935, in Hanover he was the son of the late Lloyd S. & Matilda (Gobrecht) Fisher. Dick is survived by his wife of 62 years, Constance E. (Stonesifer) Fisher. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Hanover. Dick served in the US Air Force from 1952-56 stationed in Spokane, WA where he and Connie made lifelong friends. He had been employed with Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover and was retired from Penn Township. Dick was an enthusiastic follower of the news and sports, especially watching football, baseball and NASCAR racing. Dick always enjoyed meeting new people and joining his sons for breakfast at local restaurants. He also liked keeping up with the politics and partaking in a spirited debate
