Evelyn M. Anderson, 92, formerly of Littlestown, died Sunday, Oct 28, at Gettysburg Center. She was the widow of Irvin W. Anderson who died Oct 26, 1988. Born July 19, 1920 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John E. & Elsie Mae (Milligan) Miller. Evelyn was one of the original Miller Sisters, a USO performance group from Baltimore performing during WWII. They sang, played music and tap danced. Evelyn taught tap dancing for 20 years to seniors and directed two performance groups, one being The Glitter Bugs. She performed consistently at 80 different facilities including the Eichelberger in Hanover and consistently performed with her daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter as a 4-generation tap dancing group   Read more...
