Born July 23, 1924 in Littlestown, he was the son of the late Arthur M. & Hilda G. (Bollinger) Mummert. Bud was a 1942 graduate of Littlestown High School. He served in the Army during WWII at the rank of Tech 5 in the European Theatre. He was awarded a campaign medal with 5 bronze stars, WWII victory medal and good conduct medal serving in Normany, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. Bud was employed with I.H. Crouse and Sons, formerly of Littlestown, as a master craftsman for 42 years. From 1986, he was self employed in his own cabinet and millwork shop. Bud donated his time and services to many causes and organizations. Sharon Maureen Aumen, 66, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on June 19 after a long and difficult battle with a reoccurrence of breast cancer. She died peacefully at home with Patrick Ertz, her life partner of 29 years and her beloved dog, Zoey Bear, by her side. Sharon was born Oct 1, 1946 in Hanover to the late Robert W. & Marguerite (Collins) Long. Sharon grew up in Littlestown and is survived by her sister, Barbara Collins & husband, Daniel, her niece Michele and nephew Neil. After graduating from Littlestown High School, Sharon’s adventures in life began, having lived and worked in Washington, DC, South Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland and spent the last 29 years in Scottsdale, AZ. Sharon could not imagine living anywhere else. She loved Scottsdale. She enjoyed traveling, lunches and dinners with friends, and most of all, she loved shopping. Sharon was a truly remarkable person that could make a friend of anyone.
