Biography: Reda L. Sells, 84, of Taneytown, died Tues, May 18, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of James A. Sells for 65 years. Born Oct 30, 1936 in Adams Cnty, Reda was the daughter of the late Oscar & Marie (Rinehart) Sentz. She was a 1955 Westminster High School graduate and a homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Wayne Sells of Littlestown, Keith Sells of Spring Grove, Lori Small of Gettysburg; her 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and her two sisters, Arlene Evans of Littlestown and Erma Shriver of New Oxford. Reda was predeceased by her brother, Herman Sentz. She was a member of Piney Creek Church of the Brethren, Taneytown. Reda loved flowers and birds, enjoyed gardening, playing the organ and piano and spending time with her family.
A private funeral service will be held at her church with Pastor Steve Plank officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials in Reda's name may be sent to her church @ 4699 Teeter Rd., Taneytown, MD 21787. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
