Biography: Kay was a lifetime resident of Littlestown/ Hanover area and later lived at the Brethren Home. Kay passed peacefully on November 3, 2020 at the age of 91. Rejoicefully, Kay will be comforted by her only child Scott Michael and her husband Harold O. "Pop" Sentz, both whom passed in 2012.

Kay received her Bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg College, where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000. She was also inducted in the Hall of Fame at Adams county Sports Hall of Fame. Later Kay received her Masters at Western Maryland College, at the age of 45.

Kay taught at Littlestown School District for 30 plus years, as a Health Teacher & Physical Education Instructor, where Kay was a coach to many students. Kay was even popular after she retired! No matter where Kay went, she would hear someone saying: Misses' Sentz, do you remember me? Even though Kay didn't remember their names sometimes, she knew they were one of her students. This just thrilled Kay. Kay would listen to many stories and loved hearing how she had made an imprint in her students' lives. What a wonderful gift for everyone.

Kay enjoyed The Senior Olympics, riding her Moped and John Deer mower, traveling the world with Pop and teaching First Aid Classes at the American Red Cross. Kay and Pop also volunteered at The Gettysburg Thrift Shop and Redeemer's United Church of Christ where she was a lifetime member. Kay enjoyed working in her yard, walking and talking to others, including her neighbors.

Kay has certainly left her mark on many peoples lives throughout her life, and her memories will live with all of us, forever.

With many regrets, the family will not be having a memorial service due to circumstances out of our control. Kay will be laid to rest at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Littlestown, PA.

Memorials may be given, in Kay's name to The American Red Cross of Hanover, 529 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA 17331 or any charity of your choice.

I had the privilege of knowing Kay, Harold and Scott. Kay's humor, dedication, atletic ability and strength of character made her a special person. I can still lsugh at her story of being caught in a major traffic jam and jumping out of the camper and directing hundreds of vehicles. We shared the understanding of losing a child. RIP

Oh, the many lessons learned from "K.C." were the best. She was the BEST COACH a high school athlete could have. The best gym teacher for young girls. I've recounted many words from her over the years, appreciating each one more and more as the years went by. Always pleasant, always intending the best for anyone, she did remember her girls. Just a few years ago when I finally got to see her she said "Bittle, you're one of the few I have left to see. I am so happy I ran into you." And she menat it. She literally watched out for her many students to see how we were doing later in life. She made my whole decade that day. It was truly an honor that she would remember me after more than 40 years. Her cheerful energy and outspoken ways never quivered. She always showed utmost respect for her student. K.C. Sentz was truly the mark of a good example. The many many lives she touched are indeed far better for knowing her.

Rest In Peace, Aunt Kay! Thanks for the wonderful memories of Littlestown and Hanover visits! I will always remember Kay’s love and zest for life, her concern for her students and others, her energy and boy, could she shop!!! I had a lot of fun shopping with them at Thanksgiving! After dinner, they were ready to go and get the deals! It brings me peace knowing she is with Uncle Harold, “Pop”and Scott, other loved ones in heaven. Rest In Peace, Aunt Kay. Lots of love, Ellen Sentz

Mrs. Sentz was my gym teacher doing high school. Later on, while I was working at Hanover Lowes, I saw her walking around. We chatted a few times. May she RIP. She will be missed by everyone who had the chance to meet her.
