Biography: George Tubies, 86, of Gettysburg, died Saturday, Feb. 22, at his home. Born July 21,1933 in East Prussia, Germany, George was the son of the late Otto & Auguste (Tubies) Tubies. He was a high school graduate and was a baker, real estate agent and a farmer. Surviving are his daughter, Wilma Ranzolin; his grandson Mason Ranzolin and his two brothers: Arthur Tubies of Taneytown and Ewalt Tubies of Germany. George was predeceased by his three brothers: Ottokar, Alfred and George Tubies.
