Biography:

Robert V.B. Weaver, formerly of Littlestown, currently of Clearwater, FL, died peacefully Monday, Aug 27, in Bay Pines V.A. Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL after a year long battle with cancer. Born Sept 30, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the husband of Susan (Hofe) Weaver for 43 years and the son of Anna (Renner) Weaver of Gettysburg and the late Robert V. Weaver. Bob graduated from Littlestown High School in 1966 where he pitched for the baseball team. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Purple Heart in 1969. He held a life membership in the Littlestown VFW Post 6945. He was an avid golfer. He was a confirmed member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Littlestown.
 
Bob is survived by his wife and mother as well as his 3 children: Kimberly Evan, Robert V.B. Weaver, Jr., Amy Kreidler and 5 grandchildren; a brother Robin J. Weaver & wife, Stephani of Cooper City, FL.
 
A Memorial Service will be held at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown on Sunday, Sept 30, at 2 P.M. with family receiving friends 1 - 2 P.M. The Rev. James S. Dunlop will officiate. Full military honors will be conducted by Littlestown Allied Veterans Council. Inurnment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's name may be sent to "Bay Pines VAHCS GPF 1086" and mailed to: Bay Pines VAHCS, Hospice & Palliative Care Unit Ward 5C, P.O. Box 5005, Bay Pines, FL 33744. So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Bob from my days at Littlestown High School and playing on the same little league team along with his brother.

Dearest Anna, I am so sorry to hear the sad news of your son\'s passing. My husband, Ron, remembers him well from school and we both want to send our sympathies. I will never forget visiting with you and Bob in Littlestown.
