Biography:
Hubert F. “Frank” Sprouse, 90, of Gettysburg, died Monday, March 25, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Joyce A. (Sellers) Sprouse for 60 years. Born March 18, 1929 in McLean, VA, Frank was the son of the late Marshall D. & Virgie V. (Florence) Sprouse. He was a Herndon High School graduate and served in the army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Master Plumber.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter Joi L. Ionni of Vienna, VA; his brother Percy H. Sprouse of Culpeper, VA; his sister Olive Ruth Anastasia of Port St. Lucie, FL and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a member of Littlestown Chapel Outreach for Christ; The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Virginia; Ashburn –Sterling Lodge #288 of Ashburn, VA. He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union Local 5 of Washington, DC.
Memorial Service is Saturday, March 30, at 6 P.M. at his church with Pastor S. Scott Morgan officiating. There is no Viewing. Inurnment is private. Memorials in Frank’s name may be sent to his church @1144 Bollinger Rd., Littlestown, PA 17340. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
