Biography:
William E. Crowl, 88, of Littlestown, died Monday, Feb. 18, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Myrtle M. (Straley) Crowl for 58 years. Born March 16, 1930 in Hanover, Bill was the son of the late Emory J. & Essa (Wildasin) Crowl. He was a welder for Emeco of Hanover for 34 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Linda I. Kennedy & Scott, of Littlestown; his sister Mildred Gouker of Glenville and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his four sisters: Anna Trish, Dorothy Lawyer, Henrietta Smeak, Frances Crowl and his two brothers: Walter and John Crowl. He was a life member of McSherrystown Home Association. Bill loved woodworking, making canes and gardening.
