Biography:
Jearldine L. Chenoweth, 77, of Hanover died Saturday, December 22, at her home. She was the wife of Paul E. Chenoweth of Hanover for 58 years. Born October 8, 1941 in Baltimore City, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Mary Pauline (Bachman) Utz. Jearldine was a 1959 Eastern High School graduate of Baltimore. She retired from Prudential Insurance after 20 years of service.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, Paul E. “Chip” Chenoweth and Patti of Gambrills, MD; Robert N. Chenoweth of Hanover; her daughter, Lori L. Bortner and Dwight of Hanover; her 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her brother William H. Utz of Hanover. She was predeceased by her son and daughter, 2 grandchildren, a brother U. Paul Utz and a sister Sharon L. Kite. Jearldine loved reading and spending time with her family.
Memorial Service is Tuesday, January 8, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Jerry Beers of Hanover Wesleyan Church officiating. There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends January 8 from 10- 11 A.M. at the Funeral home. Inurnment will be private. So very sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful person and someone I am blessed to have known. Our prayers go out to you Paul, Chip, Bobbly and Lori and your families. Always remember the good time. God bless you all during this very hard time.
