Biography:
Dorothy M. Krichten, 89, of Hanover, died Thurs, Dec 20, at her home. She was the wife of Raymond H. Krichten of Hanover. Her first husband, Richard F. Miller, died in 1993. Born June 15, 1929 in Reisterstown, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Russell & Grace (Morelock) Mitten. She was a 1947 Westminster High School graduate and was employed 30 years for Union Bridge Clothing. Dorothy was retired from English American Tailoring of Westminster.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Dale R. Miller & Deborah of Abbottstown; her daughter, Melissa L. Weller of Hanover; her 5 step children; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Dennis W. Miller on Jan 21, 2014. She was a member of Hanover Brethren in Christ Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, crafts and spending time with her family.
Funeral Service is Wed, Dec 26, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Brian Casale officiating. Viewing is 10-11 A.M. Interment is in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
