Biography:
Newton E. Williams, 66, of Littlestown, died Thurs, Dec 13, at Manor Care Dallastown. He was the husband of Rita M. (Smith) Williams for 48 years. Born June 30, 1952 in Marion, OH, Newt was the son of the late Clarence, Sr. & Ellen (Gooch) Williams.
He was owner/operator of Newton E. Williams Contracting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his four sons: Dan E. Williams , David M. Williams, Joe A. Williams and Jerry L. Williams & Barbara, all of Littlestown; his 4 grandchildren: Alex, Nathan, Harley & Matthew Williams and his 4 brothers: Richard, Ted, Ronnie & Roger “Mouse” Williams. Newt was predeceased by his brother Clarence Williams, Jr. He was a member of Littlestown FOE, McSherrystown Fish & Game and New Oxford Social Club. Newt enjoyed golfing, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.
