Biography:
Ralph E. “Pappy” Parrish, Sr., 79, of Littlestown, died early Wed A.M., Nov 28, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Jeannie (Reese) Parrish for 53 years. Born Nov 23, 1939 in Gamber, Ralph was the son of the late Albert Franklin, Sr. & Elizabeth (Buckingham) Parrish. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Ralph was retired since 2002 from Carroll County Government Landfills as a supervisor after 34 years of service.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his son, Ralph E. “Bunk” Parrish, Jr. & companion, Wanda Shultz of Hanover; his grandchildren: Dakotah, Bianca & Conway Parrish; his great granddaughter Cora Lynn; his brother Albert F. “Buddy” Parrish, Jr. of Johnson City, TN; and his two sisters: Doris Cornett of Speedwell, TN and Myrtle Slagle of NC. Ralph was predeceased by his 3 sisters: Janetta Myers, Eva Yox and Helen Egolf and his 2 brothers: Roland and Carl Parrish. Ralph was a member of Littlestown FOE.
He enjoyed tinkering with his cars and tractors in his garage and helping others with their autos.
Funeral Service is Saturday, Dec 1, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. S.A. Garrett officiating. Viewing is Friday, Nov 30, from 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

He was a wonderful man. He was always willing to help anyone. He would always say hello when he seen u May he R.I.P. sorry for ur loss.
