Biography:

Leo F. Lamer, 87, of Littlestown, died early Friday A.M., Nov 16, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village, Hanover.  He was the widower of Helen C. (Cruley) Lamer who died July 5, 2018.  Born Sept 8, 1931 in Ebensburg, Leo was the son of the late William & Bertha (Cramer) Lamer.  He served in the army during the Korean Conflict.  Leo was a maintenance mechanic and was retired from Eisenhart Wall Covering and was previously employed with Snyder’s and SKF.
 
Surviving are his sons:  Terry L. Lamer & Nancy of Dillsburg; Jerry M. Lamer & Kimberly of Gettysburg; Tim J. Lamer of York; his daughter Melanie L. Furlow & Dean of Littlestown; his 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and his brothers, James Lamer of Cleveland, OH and Joe Lamer of Hanover.  Leo was predeceased by his son, Leo F. Lamer, his brother, William Lamer and his sisters, Olive Horn and Hazel Smith.  He was a member of Heritage Assembly of God, Gettysburg.  He was a life member of Littlestown VFW and Hanover American Legion.  Leo enjoyed coaching baseball and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. 
 
Funeral Service is Wednesday, Nov 21, at 12 noon at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating.  Viewing is 11-12 Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment is in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.  Memorials in Leo’s name may be made to VFW Post 6954, P.O. Butch, I was very sorry to hear of your loss, especially so soon after the loss of your mother. Praying that the God of all comfort will wrap His arms securely around you and your family at this time.
