Biography:
Nancy K. Bucher, 83, of Hanover and formerly of Littlestown, died Tues A.M., Nov 13, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford. She was the widow of Thomas L. Bucher who died July 5, 2015. Born March 20, 1935 in Walkersville, MD, Nancy was the daughter of the late Leonard & Mary (Yingling) Kerchner. She attended Littlestown High School and was retired from Littlestown Manufacturing Co., formerly known as Jack Tar Togs.
Surviving are her 3 sons: Jay L. Bucher of Hanover; Leonard T. Bucher & Kathy of Littlestown; Steven K. Bucher of Hatfield; her 2 daughters: Vicki L. Masemer & Rick of Littlestown and Debbie Ann Bucher of NC; her 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter, Patty Jean Bucher; her great granddaughter, Marcella Spangler and her sister, Karen Getzandanner. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown. Nancy loved the Orioles and Redskins. She was very involved in her church and with her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Service is Monday, Nov 19, at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. Rebecca Ajer-Frantz officiating. Viewing is one hour before service time at the church. Interment is in St. John’s Cemetery.
