Biography: Jack E. Rebert, age 83, passed peacefully October 19,2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.  He was born October 11, 1935 in Gettysburg, the only son of the late John and Helen (McCleaf) Rebert.
He graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1953 and served with the National Guard. He was a member of Redeemer's UCC in Littlestown for many years and a lifetime member of Alpha Fire Co. He was also a social member of the Littlestown VFW Post 6954.
 He was employed by various fabricating companies with an expertise in welding and iron working until his retirement.
 Jack also liked working with wood, creating original pieces and also loved to hunt and fish. He loved having a dog as a constant companion.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, F. Eleanor Rebert of Salisbury, MD, three children, Sharon (Rebert) Posavec and husband Peter of Warrington, PA; Jack (Rocky) Rebert and wife Theresa of Phoenix, AZ; and Wesley Rebert and wife Teri of Hanover, PA.; a step-daughter, Kimberly Oates and husband Larry of Center Valley, PA, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 1 step-great grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Sanders, Chambersburg; Elaine McKnight, Gettysburg; and Jean Alwine of Hanover and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Katherine Gabler and Ethel Goulden.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Avenue, Littlestown at 2pm with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alpha Fire Co., New Building Fund, 40 East King Street, Littlestown, PA 17340.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
