Biography:
Guy E. Kehr, 90, of Littlestown died early Friday A.M., Sept 21, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford. He was the widower of Phyllis (Gilbert) Kehr who died in 1996. Born Jan 28, 1928 in Straban Twp, Adams County, Guy was the son of the late Herbert W. & Martha E. (Worley) Kehr. He was a lifelong dairy farmer.
Surviving are his five children: Shirley A. Waybright & Jim of Gettysburg; David A. Kehr & Karen of Littlestown; Kenneth E. Kehr & Heather of Littlestown; Marvin G. Kehr & Tammy of Littlestown; Thomas N. Kehr & Janny of Vandalia, OH; his 16 grandchildren: Bradley D. & Christopher A. Waybright, Matthew D. Kehr, Jordan & Ryan Kehr, Jillian Walsh, Julia & Jacqueline Kehr, Joshua, Elizabeth & Magdalena Kehr, Leah Shultz, Mae Winters, Jordann Mason, Jamie & Jason Hutson; and his 13 great grandchildren: Kacey & Brayden Waybright, Findley & Burke Waybright, Oliver Kehr, Benedict Walsh, Berkleigh, Maverick & Lennon Shultz, Kingston & Monroe Juyley, Quinn Mason and Charlotte Kinder and numerous nieces and nephews. Guy was predeceased by his grandson Andrew J. Waybright, his brother Clyde Kehr and his 4 sisters: Romaine Maring, Beatrice Heiser, Catherine Showers and Evelyn Martin.
Guy was a member of Hanover First Church of God, DHIA, PA Farm Bureau, PA Holstein Assoc and Littlestown Senior Center. He loved spending time with his family.
Funeral Service is Thursday, Sept 27, at 11 A.M. at his church with Pastor Jerry Shoap officiating. Viewings are Wednesday, Sept 26, 6 – 8 P.M. at church and one hour prior to service time Thursday at church. Interment is in York Road Cemetery, Hanover.
