Biography:

Charlotte M. Trump, 100, formerly of Littlestown, died Monday, Aug 13, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford.  She was the widow of George Trump who died Feb 7, 2011.  Born March 29, 1918 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late David & Joanna (Dusman) Rinehart.  Charlotte had been employed with Kessler Shoe & Keystone Cabinet Co, both of Littlestown.  She was retired from Littlestown Manufacturing in 1989. 
 
Surviving are her daughter Nancy B. Garvick & Russell of Hanover; her grandson Jerry Garvick & Brenda of Linglestown; her great grandson Russell A. Garvick & Jessica of Dauphin; her great, great granddaughter Alexis Garvick and great, great grandson Ryan Garvick and her sister Nadine Bowman of Hanover.  Charlotte was predeceased by her son David H. Trump; her 2 brothers  Maurice & Paul Rinehart and her sisters:  Helen Albright, Florence Schuman, Miriam Eshleman and Lillian Engle.   Charlotte was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown where she was a Sunday School teacher for 28 years.
 
Funeral Service is Friday, Aug 17, at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. Rebecca Ajer-Frantz officiating.  Viewing is one hour prior to service time Friday at church.  Interment is in St. Jacobs Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville.  Memorials in Charlotte’s name may be sent to St. John’s Lutheran Church – 665 St. Johns Rd., Littlestown, PA  17340 or The Brethren Home Foundation (Good Samaritan Fund ) – 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA  17350.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

I remember in the 70’s Charlotte making DOZENS of sugar cookies for my mother, Betty Ebaugh! They were the best ever! So moist...have not tasted any like hers......my memory of Charlotte Trump. Deepest sympathy to the family.
