Mom
The heart never forgets those times when a word, a smile or a hug at just the right moment made all the difference in the world. All I can think about and remember is every little time when your love has made such a big difference in my life. It has not even been 24 hours since we have said our final good bye and I feel so lost and empty inside. I miss you so much. I just want to hear you say "Hi Honey" just one more time or feel your giant hug and kiss on my check. I want to see your beautiful smile as the kids and great grandkids would enter the room. Who will call us on our birthday and sing happy birthday to us like you did every year? I know it has been a long journey and you are no longer suffering or in pain but I want just one more day to say How much I love you and what a great mom you are! It's because of you that I am the mom/grandmom I am today. Rest in peace mommy.... I miss and love you so much.... until we meet again.
