Biography:
Faye H. Stambaugh, 79, of Hanover, died Wed, Aug 8, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. Born March 22, 1939 in Hanover, Faye was the daughter of the late Clarence E. & Hazel (Hill) Stambaugh. She was a 1958 Eichelberger High School graduate and was employed with Sylvania Shoe in McSherrystown for 12 years. She also worked at Homewood at Plum Creek for 12 years and was retired from Skills of Abbottstown after 8 years of service in 2006.
Surviving are her cousins, Vivian Dutterer Ingram and Virgina Dutterer, and many other cousins. Faye was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hanover. She also attended Harvest Time Temple of Hanover. Faye was recognized for her many hours and hard work in Senior Companion Program of Lutheran Social Services of South Central PA.
Funeral Service is Monday, Aug 13, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Robert Burkhart officiating. Viewing is Monday 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Emmanuel Baust Cemetery, Westminster. Contributions in Faye’s name may be sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover, PA 17331.
