Biography:

Kathryn T. “Kitty” Keefer, 95, formerly of Littlestown, died Thursday, Aug 2, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover.  She was the wife of William R. “Bill” Keefer for 72 years.  Born June 17, 1923 in Blacks Corner, near Kingsdale, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Laura (Lemmon) Trostle.  Kitty was a 1941 Littlestown High School graduate and a homemaker.  She was the secretary at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Littlestown for 28 years and was also the Registrar for the Littlestown area. 
 
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters:  Linda K. Rebert & Ralph of Hanover;   twins - C. Jean Lewis & Robert of Columbus, OH and M. Jane Kinsey & Robert of Elizabethtown; her 6 grandchildren:  Kecia McConville & Patrick, Natali Monaghan & Richard, Rachel & David Lewis, Jeffrey Kinsey & Shea and Jenee Corbin & Jeremy; and her 7 great grandchildren:  Keira, Braden & Laura McConville, Kaleob & Kollin Monaghan, Jacob Corbin and Casey Kinsey.  Kitty was predeceased by her brothers:  Sterling, Donald, Dennis LeRoy and Norman Trostle and her sister, Mildred Trostle.  She was a member of New Hope Faith Community Church and a former Elks Ladies Aux member, both of Hanover.  Kitty collected teddy bears and paper weights; loved her hats, arts and crafts and cross word puzzles.  Her greatest joy were her girls, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
Funeral Service is Wednesday, Aug 8, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Lawrence H. Roller officiating.  Visitation is one hour to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.  Memorials in Kitty’s name may be sent to her church – 33 Sunday Dr., Hanover, PA  17331  or Homewood at Plum Creek – 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA  17331.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

Sorry to hear of Kitty's death. Was so sad when the family left St. Paul's; always enjoyed the company.

My condolences to the family. I was an active member of St. Paul's during my childhood. I remember her so well. She will be missed. Prayers to all.
