Biography:
Marie Elizabeth (Stauffer) Reynolds, 86, of Littlestown, was ushered to heaven by the Lord’s angels on Friday, July 13, from Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover. She was the wife of Victor L. Reynolds with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Born June 19, 1932 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Raymond & Elizabeth (Nace) Stauffer. Marie was a 1950 Hanover High School graduate. She was secretary for Heisner’s Cigar Factory and was retired from Littlestown School Cafeteria as kitchen supervisor after 33 years of service.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her son Randy V. Reynolds & Dlorah of Littlestown, her daughter Wendy R. Study & Dick of Silver Run; her 3 grandchildren: Matthew Study, Dusty Reynolds and Mindy Astacio; her 7 great grandchildren: Alexis & Mason Reynolds, Hayden & Cortlynd Study and Joie, Delani & Damin Astacio; her brother Robert Stauffer & wife Jenny of Littlestown. Marie was a member of Redeemer’s UCC, Littlestown. She was very involved with the Littlestown Dodgers and helped with their concession stand for 20 years. Her life has been dedicated to the strength of her faith and the love of her family.
Funeral Service is Tues, July 17, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Sterling Fritz officiating. Viewing is Monday, July 16, from 5 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie’s name may be sent to: Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
