Biography:

Margaret W. Dague, 86, of Littlestown, died Friday, July 20, at Hanover Hospital. She was the widow of Wilson H. Dague who died Aug 30, 1983. Born April 10, 1926 in Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late W. Alfred & Helen (Lindauer) Wellar. Margaret was a 1944 Milton High School graduate and attended Nursing School. She was a homemaker and farmer.
 
Margaret is survived by 2 daughters: Bea Renner & husband, Chris, of Chambersburg; Betty D. Cutler & husband, Jim, of Richmond, VA; 3 sons: Dennis R. Dague & wife, Val, of Waynesburg; William E. Dague & wife, Laura, of Gettysburg and Steve V. Dague of Littlestown; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a brother, Herbert Wellar of Mount Joy. Margaret was predeceased by a sister, Mary Helen Wellar. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg where she had taught children's Sunday School for many years. Margaret was a former member of Mt. Joy Homemakers, helped with Mt. Joy Twp Elections and a 4-H leader. She was a volunteer for Barlow Fire Co. dinners and helped many friends and neighbors.
 
A Memorial Service is Friday at 2 P.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with her son-in-law, Pastor Chris E. Renner of Marion First United Methodist Church, officiating. There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends 1 - 2 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to make a special donation to honor their mother's memory. Details will be provided at the memorial service.
