He worked for First National Bank of Hanover (National Central Bank via merger) 1962-1968.  He then was a graduate of Rutgers University Stonier Graduate School of Banking and holds a graduate certificate from American Institute of Banking.  Paul was then employed with Gettysburg National Bank from 1968-1989.  He was President of GNB  May 1, 1978 until his retirement in 1989.

Paul was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown, American Institute of Banking, Pennsylvania Institute of Banking and numerous other professional organizations.  His community activities included:  past member of Gettysburg Rotary Club, past member of Board of Directors of Gettysburg Hospital and Adams County Agricultural Extension Committee.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman.
