Biography:

Bernard L. "Bernie" Clouser, 85 of Aspers died early AM Sunday at the Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of the late Gladys Baughman Clouser who died Nov. 1987 and long time companion for 17 years Audrey Showers of Aspers. Born March 19, 1927 in Littlestown, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mary Bishe Clouser.
 
Bernie was a plumber and retired from Snyder Plumbing and Heating of Gettysburg and later retired from Bair's florist in Biglerville. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Navy. Bernie was a life member of the Littlestown VFW, Littlestown Eagles and was a member of the Biglerville American Legion and a social member of the CWV of Bonneauville.
 
Also surviving is a son, Michael L. Clouser and wife Sharon of Littlestown, a daughter Connie L. Murren and husband Steve of Littlestown. 6 grandchildren, Tammy Klinedinst, Andrea Clouser, Ben Harn, Jozie Russello, Bernie Murren and Courtney Shoemaker. 8 great grandchildren, and a brother Larry Clouser of Gettysburg. He was predeceased by a daughter Sharon Harn and a brother Pete Clouser.
 
There will be no viewing however the family will receive friends Wed from 10-11 at Littles's Funeral Home, Littlestown, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM with the Rev. Timothy J. Kielley, Pastor of New Hope Faith Community Church officiating. Inurnment will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Contributions have been asked to go to Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
