Biography:
Harry J. Wildasin, 89, of Hanover, formerly of Littlestown, died Wed., Apr 4, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford. He was the husband of Irene (Koontz) Wildasin of Hanover for 60 years. Born June 30, 1928 in Littlestown, Harry was the son of the late Harry C. & Ada V. (Wertz) Wildasin. He served in the U.S. Army was a route salesman for Utz retiring in 1992 after 17 yrs of service.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is his son, Mark E. Wildasin of Hanover. Harry was predeceased by his sister, Arlene Greason. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown. He was a 50-year member and Past Master of Patmos Lodge #348 FA & M of PA – past High Priest Hanover Royal Arch Chapter #310 – Past thrice Illustrious Master Penn Council #67 and Past Commander Bethel Commandery #98 Knights Templar of PA. Harry’s other Masonic body affiliations included: Member Penn Priory #6 Knights of the York Cross of Honor, Member of Scottish Rite A.S.S.R. of Harrisburg and Member Zembo Shrine A.N.O.M.S.
Funeral Service is Monday, Apr 9, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. There will be NO Viewing. Masonic Service will be conducted by Patmos Lodge #348 prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

My father, Harry Wildasin, was a member of the Patmos Lodge for 50 years. He has recently passed on. He served in the Army. He was a Grand Master and a great father to me and a wonderful husband to my mother. He took me on many trips, taught me how to score baseball, ate crabs with me; we went on picnics together at Williamsgrove; we watched sports; he taught me how to mow grass; we shopped together; and he took me to Hershey Park every Sunday in the Summer. He had many friends. He volunteered to fundraise with the Commanderie. He worked for Eddie’s Cleaners and then UTZ as a driver for 17 years. He attended the Hanover Fitness Center. He was a great member for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a great Shriner. We lived in Littlestown for 49 years. He was proud of me and I was proud of him. I’ll miss him dearly.
