Biography: Helen L Egolf, 75 of Littlestown died December 20, 2017 at the Dove House, Westminster. She was the partner of Ronald E. Poole of Littlestown for 33 years. Born September 16, 1942 in Baltimore City she was the daughter of the late William T. and Blanche A. Buckingham Penn. Helen worked in retail sales with KMart, Leggetts and Super shoes. In Addition to Ron, she is survived by her daughters, Theda Dyer Merson of Taneytown, Tania Dyer Pittinger of North Carolina, her son James Kelly Dyer of Frederick, stepdaughter Rhonda Flynn of Westminster, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a brother James Egolf of Stevensville. Helen was predeceased by her son Eric Foster Dyer, step grandson Christopher Cook Poole, 1 sister and 5 brothers. She was a member of the Littlestown Eagles, loved Christmas, sprint car races and being with family. There will be a celebration of life, Sunday January 21 from 5-7:45 at the Westminster V.F.W. Post 467, 519 Poole Rd with the Rev. Virgil Cain of Trinity Lutheran Church, Smithsburg officiating. Dress is casual, no food, no drinks and no flowers.
