Biography:
William C. "Big Bill" Young, Sr., 65 of Littlestown died Tuesday A.M., July 10, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Frances E. (Kelso) Young for 46 years. Born Nov 21, 1946 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Ralph W. & Helen Grace (Bastin) Young.
He was a Milford Mill High School graduate of Maryland. He was an auto mechanic and later drove truck for Crown Paving of Thurmont.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a son William C. Young, Jr. of Hampstead and a daughter, Kathy A. Young of Gettysburg; three grandchildren: James W. Young, Jessica L. Cavey and Ryan S. Young and a great grandson, Judah Young; 2 brothers: Gary Young of Westminster and Clyde "Buddy" Young of Catonsville and a 4-legged companion, "Buster". Bill enjoyed riding to unknown destinations and restaurants with Fran. He especially enjoyed summer vacations with his grandchildren.

I would just like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family at their time of need. You all will be in my prayers. Mr. Young will be missed greatly by alot of people. Rest in peace.

God Bless Fran and all the family. Big Bill will fondly be remembered. I am glad he was able to meet my daughter Dorothy and come to her birthday party last year. Love, Alice, Pete and Dorothy
