Biography:

Virginia L. Reynolds, 94, formerly of Littlestown, currently of McSherrystown, died Tues, Aug 29, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.  She was widow of the late Charles C. Croft who died Nov 30, 1964 and the late H. Raymond Reynolds who died April 22, 2007.  Born Aug 13, 1923 in Essex, MD, Virginia was the daughter of the late Edward & Amy (Frock) Heiser.  She was retired from Jack Tar Togs, Littlestown and had been employed with Craftlite and Carroll Shoe, both of Littlestown. 
 
Surviving are her 2 daughters, Patsy R. McGonigal & Donald of Hanover and Peggy L. Rineaman & James of Spring Grove; her stepsons:  Terry W. Reynolds of Wellsboro and Randy B. Reynolds of Meriden, CT; her stepdaughter Ramonda J. Crushong of Heidlersburg; her 4 grandchildren:  Pamela Cool, Stephanie Smith, Todd McGonigal and Barbara King; her 6 great grandchildren and her sister, Anna Hood of Littlestown.  Virginia was predeceased by her brothers:  Edward, John, Frank, Elwood and Caroll Heiser and her sisters:  Betty Rice, Marian Chronister and Rita Holland.  Virginia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Two Taverns and Carroll-Adams Riding Club, Littlestown.  She enjoyed her family and going bowling.
 
Funeral Service is Friday, Sept 1, at 3 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Sister Deborah McClellan officiating.  Viewing is 2:15 – 3 at the funeral home.  Interment is in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Two Taverns.  Memorials in Virginia’s name may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or Adams County SPCA – 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA  17325.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

Patsy and Peggy, thank you for sharing your mom with me. Each time I came home (to PA from AZ) I would stop and visit with her (and Uncle Raymond while he was alive). She always made me laugh and kept cheering on my dancing. I loved the spunk she always had and I will miss her dearly. Praying that God will comfort you and your families.

Dear Patsy & Peggy and families. We are so sorry we can't make it up for Aunt Sis's service. Aunt Sis was a very special person as was Uncle Pat and Raymond. I have many,many great memories. Love you Aunt Sis.
