Biography:

Elsie G. Little, 87, formerly of Littlestown died Friday August 4 at the Brethren home, New Oxford. She was the wife of Jesse R. Little who died October 26, 2010. Born November 6, 1929 in Union Bridge, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Essie Weeks Reid. Elsie was a graduate of Elmer Wolfe High School in Union Bridge. She retired from Random House  and later worked for Carroll Lutheran Village, both of Westminster.
 
Elsie is survived by her sons, Michael R. Little and Carolyn of Littlestown and Jesse S. Little and Sharon of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. Six grandchildren, 11 great  grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a great grandson Noah Woodland, brothers Dewey, Curtis and Harless Reid and a sister Annie Anderson.
 
Elsie was a member of Gates of Praise Worship Center of Littlestown. She was a Sunday School teacher, loved walking, always giving an encouraging word to others and very faithful to her Church. There will be a Memorial Service Wednesday August 9 at 11 A.M. at Little’s funeral Home Littlelstown with Pastor Samuel A. Garrett officiating. Family will receive friends 10-11 Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private. Contributions have been asked to go to Gates of Praise Worship Ctr., 500 Baltimore Pike, Littlestown PA 17340. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
