Biography:

Ronald Leroy Gladhill of East Berlin, formally of Biglerville, passed away on Friday, March 31.  Born April 18, 1944, the son of the late Robert D. & Margaret (Schneider) Gladhill.  Surviving are his partner, Minh D. Hoang of East Berlin; his two sons:  Chad David Gladhill and Ryan Denton Gladhill, Daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Kuhns) Gladhill and two granddaughters, Sydney Patricia and Dyllan Margaret Gladhill; his 6 brothers:  R. Larry Gladhill & wife, Barbara,  C. Michael Gladhill & wife, Judy,  Dennis Gladhill & wife, Vicci, all of Littlestown, James Gladhill & wife, Sonja of Gettysburg, Dwight Gladhill & fiance, Anita Swope, Scot Gladhill & wife, Diane of Hanover and his 2 sisters:  Jean Tvrdy & husband, Richard of Ceresco, NE and Donna Hertz of Gettysburg and a number of nieces and nephews whom he adored. 
 
Ronn graduated from Littlestown High School, class of 1962, and attended Bucknell School of Banking and took various courses through American School of Banking.  He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.  He had been employed by ACNB for 26 years with his last position as Vice President and office manager at the Carroll Valley office.  He was a general partner of the Littlestown Garden Center and Florist, retired from Knouse Foods, Peach Glen and the Gettysburg Foundation at the Gettysburg National Military Park. 
 
Ronn was a  past president of the Littlestown Jaycees, charter member and the first treasurer of the Littlestown Branch of the YMCA and the Littlestown Lions Club.  He served on the church council of St. John’s  Lutheran Church, Littlestown and was a member of the Carroll Valley Business Association. 
 
After cremation, a Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 3, at 7 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Sister Deb McClellan officiating.  Visitation is 5 – 7 P.M. Monday at the funeral  home.  Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 330 White Hall Rd., Littlestown, PA  17340.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

We just came from Ronn's memorial service...Sister Deb captured Ronn quite well....he was a dear friend from school,twice we were neighbors and someone who would always make me laugh. Our deepest sympathy to Minh, Trish, Chad and Ryan. I know he loved all of you. I know I will miss him!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ronn Gladhill. I have known Ronn about 10 years and found him to be a wonderful human being. We had many discussions over a wide range of topics and I will miss his wit and wisdom.

Worked with Ronnie at Adams county national bank.
He was my neighbor on Locust hill.
Very good friend, many memories together.
Ronnie will be missed.

Worked with Ron at Knouse Foods. Always cheerful and funny. So sorry he left us too early.

I have so many fond memories of time spent with Ron. Thanks for making me laugh and thanks for teaching me it is alright to be yourself. Minh thank you for loving Ronn; you were the love of his life. Your love will live on through the wonderful memories you made together. May God comfort you during these difficult days.
