Biography:

Cora Marie Cutsail, 98, of Hanover, formally of Taneytown and Littlestown, died on Friday, March 24, at Homewood at Plum Creek.  She was the wife of the late N. Benjamin Cutsail for 50 years who died on Dec. 8, 1991.  Born Oct 1, 1918 near Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late George E. & Mary (Myers) Motter.  She was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Taneytown; a member of the adult Sunday School Class; a quilter with the Happy Helpers and a former church council member.  Cora was a graduate of Littlestown High School in 1937 and a member of the Littlestown Alumni Association.  She retired from the Windsor Shoe Co. and Cambridge Rubber Co.
 
Surviving are her daughter, Vickie Lowe and husband, Charles of Driftwood, PA;  her two granddaughters, Amy Gehrke and wife, Eilene of Portland, OR and Julie Zepp & husband, Michael of New Windsor, MD and her four great grandchildren:  Cameron Fierro, Lexie Starkweather, Shannon Fierro and Caitie Starkweather and her sister, Charlott Motter, Rio Rancho, NM.  Cora was predeceased by brothers and sisters:  The Rev. Alton Motter, Theda Schwartz, Edwin Motter, Phyllis Yingling, Erma Aumon, Marion Myers, Warren Motter, Eleanor Basehoar and James Motter.
 
Funeral Services will be held at Little’s Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating on Tuesday, March 28, at 11 A.M.  Friends and family may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.  Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Taneytown.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 38 W. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD  21787.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

Our condolences to her family. Aunt Coty was a special lady: salt of the earth, plain speaking, and feet on the ground. Even in our most recent phone call to her, she was alert and coping with her infirmities. She will indeed be missed. We offer our prayers for her and the family.

So sorry that Aunt Coty has left us. She was an inspiration to me and my brother (Harold) and my dad, Aunt Coty's brother. Her memory was amazing. She could remember so many things about our family, and we will miss this special resource for so many thing!
We will all miss Aunt Coty.
