Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but my great Uncle Johnny will always hold a special place in my heart. I have fond memories that I'll never forget. I'm glad I got to see him at the Brethren Home. RIP Uncle Johnny

I work evening shift at CKV. Mr John was the kindest, most gentle gentleman that I have ever met. It has been a privilege taking care of him and I have so many fond memories. I loved hearing him and one of the other gentlemen talk of their service in the Navy. He was such an Oriole's fan and loved strawberry ice cream. If they were ever losing, he would joke with me that it was because I hadn't brought him his ice cream yet!! He enjoyed being "tucked" into bed with covers being pulled up to his neck. He would always say "you did a good deed and I thank you!" I can honestly say that I saw him smile every day of the two years I've been there Rest In Peace John. You taught many of us the true way to treat others. I will certainly miss your humor and smile
