Biography:

Walter A. Redding, 50, of Littlestown, died Wed, Sept 21, at his home.  Born Aug 5, 1966 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Thelma (Knight) Redding of Littlestown and the late Rodney J. Redding.  Walt attended Littlestown High School and was employed with Doug Barnes Drywall & Construction, LLC of Hanover for 17 years.
 
Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter, Jennifer N. Redding; his son, Christopher A. Redding, both of Abbottstown; his 2 grandchildren:  Trenton O’Neal and Landon Redding; his 3 brothers:  Wayne A. Redding & wife, Lorrie, of Littlestown; Richard L. Redding of McSherrystown; Rodney “Joe” Redding & wife, Bea of Taneytown; his 2 sisters;  Diane Bair & John Rockafellow and Christine Redding, all of Littlestown and his former wife, DeeDee A. Fuhrman of Abbottstown and many nieces and nephews.  Walt was a member of Littlestown VFW and FOE.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping with community fundraisers.
 
Viewing is Sunday, Sept 25, from 3 – 6 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown.  Contributions have been asked to go to Little’s Funeral Home @ P.O. Box 155, Littlestown, PA  17340 to help defray funeral expense.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

Is been a couple of months since you left me and the family. Its still very sad to know your gone you will never be forgotten you were the greatest uncle anyone could ever have. You had a funny laugh and always made me laugh. Your food was good your since of humor was really cheerful. I will always miss you wish you were here for Christmas. i won't forget you uncle walter you were truly a great man and always fun to be around i just wish i spent more time with you.

Still can't believe it! You were a great man and great friend. I miss you Brother. There will always be "Walt's taters" at the Chicken BBQ's? My thoughts and Prayers to the family!

It's Friday Night and I'll miss Walt not being there to say Hi to the "wall huggers" that come in for supper!! Rest in Peace my friend.

Been many years since I heard this name and would never have thought this is the way to bring back memories. Great guy and friend. RIP My Friend. God bless you and your family.

I don't even know where to start!! Walt was such a great & caring friend!! I could always rely on him for anything. I will miss him so much!! This doesn't even seem real!! Prayers for his family! You all are in my thoughts & prayers!! "Walt we will win the lottery one day"
