Biography:
Robert W. Wiseman, 87 of Littlestown died Friday September 2 at his home. Bob Was the husband of Betty L. Hess Wiseman for 65 years. Born June 13, 1929 in East Berlin, he was the son of the late Jesse W. and Ruth E. Roland Wiseman. He worked as a plumber/pipe fitter for C.C. Kottcamp of York and Dolson Plumbing of Spring Grove. Bob served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Jill A. Baird and husband Ron of Littlestown and Judy K. Spielman and husband Bobby of Littlestown. Grandchildren LeeAnn Baird and husband Chris Therit and Andrew Baird and wife Jackie. Great Grandchildren Ryan Baird, Reagan Miller, Tyler Therit, Tanner Therit, Teagan Therit and a very loved grand fur baby, Carly. Sisters Erma White of New Oxford and Doris Miller and Betty Houser both of Hanover. Bob was predeceased by brothers Carl Wiseman and Terry Wiseman. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Alpha Fire Company both of Littlestown and the Loyal Order of Moose of Hanover. He loved gardening, hunting, playing cards and watching old cartoons. Funeral Service is Thursday September 8 at 11 AM at Little’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard F. Michael and the Rev S. R. Mackie officiating. There will be a viewing Wednesday September 7 from 6-8 at Little’s Funeral Home and 1 hour before the service. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Contributions have been asked to go to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West King St., Littlestown PA 17340. Pallbearers will be, Andy, Ronnie and Ryan Baird, Chris Therit, Bobby Spielman and Mike Miller. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
