Biography:
Raymond J. Reichart, 94, formerly of Littlestown, died Tues, Aug 16, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover. He was the widower of Edna V. (Sterner) Reichart who died Dec 5, 2010. Born Jan 17, 1922 in Hanover, Ray was the son of the late Claude S. & Myrtle E. (Hoffacker) Reichart. He was retired form Littonian Shoe Co in 1985 and prior to was employed with Windsor Shoe Co., also of Littlestown. In addition to his wife, Ray was predeceased by his 2 brothers: Russell C. & Roland W. Reichart. He was a member of Redeemer’s UCC, Littlestown.
Funeral Service is Fri, Aug 19, at 11 A.M. at Homewood at Plum Creek Chapel with the Rev. Joel Hummel officiating. Viewing is 10:30 –11 A.M. at the chapel. Interment is in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Memorials in Raymond’s name may be sent to Redeemer’s UCC, 107 E. King St., Littlestown, PA 17340. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
