Biography:

F. Nadine Haines, 92, of Littlestown, died Fri, Aug 12, at Gettysburg Lutheran Home.  She was the widow of the late Robert W. Haines who died Sept 4, 1983.  Born Aug 31, 1923 in Mayfield, OK, Nadine was the daughter of the late Donald & Nellie (Warren) Sites. She had been a cook for 20 years at Taneytown Middle School retiring in 1985 and was also employed with Windsor Shoe Co., Littlestown.
 
Surviving is her daughter, Dolores R. Lockner of Coalport;  her 4 grandchildren:  Marlene Powell, Karen Henry, Mike Ridinger and Bonnie Schell; her 8 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; her brother Charles Sites of Glenville and her sister LaWanda Haines of Hanover.  Nadine was predeceased by her brothers:  Francis, Robert, Donald & Ron Sites and her sister, Helen Busby.  She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting and attending church activities.
 
Viewing is Wed, Aug 17, from 1 – 2 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown.   Funeral Service to follow at 2 P.M. with The Rev. Richard Ritenour officiating.   Interment is in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.  Memorials in Nadine’s name may be sent to her church @  1125 Frederick Pike, Littlestown, PA  17340  OR American Heart Assoc – P.O. You have my deepest sympathy. Nadine (Grandma) was a wonderful woman and I have so many great memories of her. She always had a smile and was always willing to help in any way. I am so sorry to read of her passing.
