Helen was an important part of the community at CKV-TBHC. We remembered her during our devotions today, 7/11/16 in the South Mountain neighborhood. Several people shared how much Helen meant to them. Here is some of what they said.
Helen was very outgoing and was often the first person to welcome newcomers and help them feel at home. Helen was a positive thinker. No, she was not always happy with everything, but she always said that she was glad to be at CKV-TBHC where she and her husband, could be together and be given the care they needed. Helen enjoyed sitting in the sun in front of the main entrance. There she found people to talk to and got a beautiful tan.
Helen was genuine and shared her feelings honestly with those around her. Helen experienced life fully. She loved art class and encouraged the group to clap to express their appreciation. Helen made each person she met feel special.
Our community will miss Helen and will remember her for a long time. We are praying for all of you who loved Helen and were loved by her. May your memories bring you comfort and joy.

Sorry to hear the passing of your Mother, our family will be thinking of you all through the next difficult days. We will always remember visiting your parents when we made a trip to Pennsylvania, and her chicken corn soup, loved that soup.
