Biography:
Annabelle M. Ferris, 95 died June 20, 2016 at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA. She was the widow of Delbert Owen and Gerald Ferris. Born April 26, 1921 in Andrew Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Mayberry Sutton. Annabelle was a graduate of High School and Drake University where she got her teaching degree and taught public school until her retirement. She is survived by a daughter Kathryn A. Vogel of Littlestown, PA, sons Kurt D. Owen of Hackensack MN. and Karl J. Owen of Cloquet, MN., 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Camilla Sill. She was a member of the Iowa State Teachers Association and liked golfing, playing bridge, reading and being with family. Services will be private and inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
