Biography:

Betty L. Goulden, 80, of New Oxford died Fri., May 11, at her home. She was the wife of John D. Goulden of New Oxford for 62 years. Born August 31, 1931 in Silver Run, she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Grace (Strevig) Baumgardner. She was a homemaker.
 
Betty is survived by 5 sons: Bernard E. Goulden and Carl D. Goulden, both of Littlestown; James E. Goulden of White Marsh, MD; Daniel F. Goulden of New Oxford and Robert A. Goulden of East Berlin; 3 daughters: Wanda S. Spahr of East Berlin; Meleah G. Binder of Palmyra and LaDonna L. Deatrick of New Oxford; 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a sister, Della Lamer of Littlestown. Betty was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary Topper; a granddaughter, Sarah Beth Goulden; and 2 brothers: Dewey & Ernest Clinton Baumgardner. She was a member of Pine Island Community Church of FL and a lifetime Ladies Aux member of Littlestown V.F.W.
 
Funeral Service is Tuesday, May 15, at 10 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Chaplain Dan Summers of Lutheran Home Care & Hospice of Gettysburg. Viewing is Monday 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. Pallbearers are Betty's grandsons: Tod, Jamie, Nathan & Brady Goulden and Jason & Tim Orwick, Dalton Deatrick and Jared & Adam Goulden. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty's name may be sent to: Lutheran Home Care & Hospice, 260 W. High St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
