Biography:
Mary L. Mikesell, 97, died Tuesday April 19 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg. She was the wife of the late Norman A. Mikesell. Born June 1, 1918 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Theo F. and Emma Ebaugh James. Mary was a 1936 Littlestown High School graduate and farmed with her husband. She was a member of Redeemer’s U.C.C. in Littlestown. She is survived by nieces and nephews and was predeceased by brothers Vernon, Norman, Alvin, Edward, William, Walter and Carroll James. Mary loved farming and her cats. Funeral service is Saturday April 23 at 10:30 at Littles’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Sterling Fritz officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 until 10:30 Saturday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
