Biography:

Pearl L. Gerrick, 93, formerly of Littlestown died Friday April 15 at Martin’s Country View Acres in Hanover. She was the wife of Fred S. Gerrick who died in 1994. Born September 16, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Erna Foley Bowers.  Pearl and her husband Fred owned and operated The Trotting Inn in Littlestown.  Pearl is survived by her daughter Dixie L. Wetzel of Hanover, grandchildren Fred Wetzel, Lori Mummert and Jessica Phillips, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson and a brother Harold Bowers of Hanover. She was predeceased by a sister June Mummert. Pearl attended New Hope Faith Community Church in Hanover. Funeral Service is Tuesday April 19 at 11 AM at Little’s Funeral Home with The Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating. There will be a viewing Monday April 18 from 6-8 at the Funeral home. Inurnment will be private in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Contributions have been asked to go to her church at 33 Sunday Dr., Hanover PA 17331. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

pearl and Fred used to babysit my sister and I when we were very young —even taking us to their cabin; I have fond memories of her beinf a kind loving woman to us!

Dixie and Family - Our prayers are that God can somehow grant you and your family comfort during your terrible time of sorrrow. Your mom was such a sweet lady and great neighbor. We miss you guys but you and mom will always be in our hearts and prayers.

So sorry to learn of the passing of our "Mother Pearl". She was a wonderful and caring person as well as a good friend. She will be missed.
