Biography:
Evelyn L. Foreman, 82, of Littlestown, died Thurs A.M., April 7, at her home. She was the widow of Francis C. “Frank” Foreman who died Feb 3, 1997. Born Jan 31, 1934 in Woodsboro, MD, Evelyn was the daughter of the late John J. & Marion R. (Otto) Hoffman. She had been employed with Cambridge Rubber Co. of Taneytown and was retired from Aristokraft of Littlestown since 1999. Following retirement she was employed with Maple Avenue Middle School cafeteria of Littlestown.
Surviving are her 3 daughters: Connie Althoff of Westminster, Linda Foreman of Littlestown, Lisa Hahn & Frankie of Hanover; her son, Larry Foreman & Caroline of Hampstead, MD; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; her brother, Ralph D. Hoffman of Gardners and her sister Thelma C. Reifsnider of Littlestown. Evelyn was predeceased by her 4 brothers: Richard T., John F., Roland H. and Glenn W. Hoffman. She was a member of Lifepoint Church of Reisterstown. She loved gardening, Hot Air Ballooning and spending time with her family and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank grandson, Jason Foreman and longtime friend, Sheila Drummond for their special care given to Evelyn.
Funeral Service is Monday, April 11, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Fred Shilling officiating. Viewing is Sunday 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Contributions in Evelyn’s name may be sent to: American Cancer Society, P.O.
