Biography: Cyril J. Miller Jr. 66 of Hanover died early Friday July 3 at the home of his son in Littlestown. He was the husband of Susan Murphy Miller of Hanover for 47 years. Born November 19, 1948 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Cyril J. Miller Sr. and Mary Rorrer Miller of Hanover. Cyril was a 1966 Hanover High School graduate. He retired from Cyril Miller Trucking in 2015. In addition to his wife and mother, Cyril is survived by a son Thomas M. Miller of Littlestown and a daughter Monica A. Orr of Lusby MD. Granddaughters Katie and Caroline Orr and sisters Mary M. Miller and Veronica Miller both of Hanover. He was predeceased by a brother Michael M. Miller. Cyril was on the steering committee of the Pete Kuhns’ Memorial Christmas for Kids and a member of the Mason Dixon Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. Cyril was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association and the Hanover Amvets Post #22. He loved riding motorcycle and being with family and friends. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. There will be a memorial gathering at a later date. Contributions have been asked to go to Pete Kuhns’ Memorial Christmas for Kids, C/O Dave Kuhns, 1791 Fish and Game Rd., Littlestown PA 17340. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

I'm so sorry for your loss....I remember our first trip to Sturgis back in the 90's on that Springer...I will remember that trip forever.... Rest in Peace my friend..

We are so sorry for your loss of Cyril. You have our deepest sympathies. Blaine and I were so lucky to get to know him and hear some of stories and jokes. We will always have a special place in our hearts for his sweet soul. RIP Cyril.

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Cyril was a great man, a wonderful humanitarian. Selfless and caring is the way we remember Cyril. I will always remember his delightful stories his spun about the neighborhood and the many great times he had on his bike. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Sue, sorry to hear about Cyril, a friendly and happy person that we enjoyed having as a neighbor. Like so many bikers that I know, he had a big spirit and kind heart. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Cyril and I were in the same class at St. Vincent and HHHS. I will always remember his hair. I was happy to connect with Cyril at our 45th reunion. I was hoping for an update of his cycling adventures at the 50th. I am sorry for the loss to your family. Cyril will be missed.

You will be missed. Spent many days talking motorcycles, racing, and Sturgis. May people that knew you understand how you touched so many people. Could not have a better neighbor. Rest in peace. Ride on brother.
