Biography: Denis E. Connelly, 68 of Hanover died unexpectedly Tuesday May 12 in Littlestown.Born February 28, 1947 in Bryn Mawr, PA. he was the son of the late John J. and Kathryn Matthias Connelly. Denis was a Villanova University graduate and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War with the NSA. Denis is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Ann Day and husband Joseph of Lincoln University, PA. and Kathryn L. Connelly of Havertown, PA. Two brothers, John M. Connelly of Paoli, PA and James A. Connelly and wife Eleanor of Villanova, PA. He was retired from Utz Snacks of Hanover. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing. Denis was a member of the Eagles, VFW and American Legion of Littlestown, McSherrytown Moose, Hanover Amvets and the CWV of Bonneauville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. Funeral Service will be private in Havertown, PA and interment will be in St. Dennis Cemetery, Havertown.
