Biography:

A. Louise Ernst, 98, of Littlestown, died Wed, May 6, at Golden Living Center, Gettysburg.  She was the widow of George E. Ernst.  Born April 5, 1917 in Littlestown, Louise was the daughter of the late William F. & Mary Alma (Klein) Weaver.  She was a ‘34 Littlestown High School graduate.  Louise was employed with The Leader Store and Fashion Lane, both of Hanover, until her retirement at age 75. 
 
Surviving are a daughter, Judy A. Jacobs of Littlestown; 2 sons:  Larry E. Ernst of Churchville, VA and Allan F. Ernst of Aurora, CO; 13 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.  Louise was predeceased by her sister, Anna C. Weaver and 2 great grandsons:  Michael Jacobs and Philip Dorofee.  Louise was member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
 
Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, May 11, at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. James M. Sterner Celebrant.  There will be no viewing.  Interment is in the parish cemetery.  Memorials in Louise’s name may be sent to her church at 29 S. Queen St., Littlestown, PA 17340.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

What a beautiful celebration for a beautiful woman. She lived her life to the fullest. It has been many years since I saw her but I will never forget her. May you RIP and I will continue to pray for the Ernst Family.

Another beautiful and sweet lady has left us this week. I miss seeing you up front on Saturday Night at Mass and then in the hall at BINGO. My prayers are with you and your family. Janet and Leitha
