Frances was the roommate of my Aunt Connie Sterner at Homewood. I met Frances while visiting my aunt, and we quickly discovered that we had McConnellsburg, PA in common. My husband and I had lived at Cowans Gap State Park for several years, and McConnellsburg became our community. As we chatted, she updated us on people we had lost touch with and then enlightened us about what McConnellsburg was like when she had lived there. Her face lit up when talking about her hometown and each time we\'d come, she\'d have more news to share with us. How we enjoyed our visits with her and are so glad we had the opportunity to meet Frances!
