Biography:

Gerald L. Mullinix, Sr., 79, of Littlestown died Sat., December 27, at the Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. He was the husband of Mildred N. Mullinix who died December 25, 2013. Born March 31, 1935 in Howard County MD, he was the son of the late Jerome and Mary (Flynn) Mullinix.    He was a 1954 Westminster High School graduate.  He was co-owner of M & M Tool & Dye of Littlestown.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Louise Andujar of McSherrytown; 2 sons:  Gerald L. Mullinix, Jr. & wife, Cathy of Littlestown and Larry E. Mullinix & wife, Dorthea of Gettysburg;  9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Karl Mullinix, Sr. of Union Mills, MD; Ronald Mullinix of Westminster; and 2 sisters: Mary Ellen Rawlings of Littlestown and Lois Reaver of Red Lion.  Gerald was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Mullinix and a grandson, Joshua Mullinix.  Gerald attended Outreach for Christ, Littlestown and was a member of Hanover & Gettysburg Barnstormers and a life member of Littlestown Fish & Game.  He loved flying and being with family.
 
Funeral Service is Wed, Dec 31, at 9:30 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating.  Viewings are 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 P.M. Tues at the funeral home. Interment is in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. Contributions in Gerald’s name may be to the charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one and offer my heartfelt sympathy. Acts 24:15 assures us we will see our loved ones again by means of a resurrection. Let us look forward to that day.

Gerald was always fun to be around. I'll always remember him as a regular at Hanover Airport and him flying that Skymaster. He tolerated me while I was learning to fly. I've missed him the last few years. He was a great supporter of the Barnstormers.
